Positive: Loved this comfortable hotel. Rooms very spacious and well thought out. Very clean. Well supported by a host of staff who went out of their way to ensure we were happy and comfortable. Nice pool too. Great proximity to the park and tour office for booking walks. Would not hesitate to return.

Positive: Well maintained grounds, modern facilities in the room. Excellent pool and mini gym suite. A quiet area on the edge of town so slept well until the leaf-blower started at 08:00 every morning.

Negative: North facing bungalow (104) always felt cold and damp. Fittings - especially the door lock - were worn and sometimes malfunctioned. Very confused servers in the restaurant giving contradictory answers about whether a particular item on the menu was, or was not, available. Atmosphere in the restaurant was cold and clinical. Several queries with the reception staff went unanswered so we ultimately made our own arrangements and did not pursue.

Summary: Looks good but some underlying staff issues.

Positive: We got two cottages that were just renovated so we were the first guest to use them :-) Clean, Spacious, Large bathroom with modern shower. The property is located a min away from the Perriyar national reserve and welll emerged with nature. staff were extremely nice and helpful.

Positive: Accessibility was none to poor. Temperature control in the rooms very limited. It’s definitely not 5-star rated facility.

Negative: Poor to none accessibility for elderly and physically challenged people. Gym was very poorly equipped. Bathrooms were not up to mark.

Positive: We booked this as it was close to the Periyar National Park. This was a lovely place to stay, with a really nice room and pool area. We also had a delicious meal in the restaurant. Staff were friendly.
